Multi-Camera Production

Multi-camera production for concerts, business meetings, educational conferences and fashion shows

Matthew and Company Video Productions in Austin, Texas produced and coordinated the complex multi-camera production for Phillips Craig and Dean Concert who celebrated the grand opening of the LifeAustin Amphitheater on Friday, September 4, 2015. Matthew and Company Video Productions set up seven cameras and a mini production studio on location where we directed each camera operator by headphone. From the control area we recorded each camera independently for editing during post production; and our director and technical director called the live camera switching.

CraigCameras used for the multi-camera production were Canon C300’s and C500’s. Most of the cameras were lensed with Canon CN-E 14mm, and CN-E 30-105mm. Richard Trub also operated a MōVI M10 gyro stabilized camera stabilizer with the Canon C500, lensed with a Cannon CN-E 35mm and Paralinx wireless remote focus. He also used the Exhauss Exoskeleton Camera Support. This Exoskeleton provides support up to 30 lbs. and allowed Richard to maintain the freedom of movement similar to a steady-cam operation.

DeanThe multi-camera video production was produced by Matt and Kay Trub.
