Tabletop food video production and still photography for the food and beverage industry is exciting, fun, complicated and yes, sometimes stressful. But Matthew and Company has it down to a science which eliminates the stress. Well, most of it anyway.
Bringing the right production crew together for your project is important. We have access to some of the most talented people in our area. So finding the right Producer, Director, Director of Photography, Gaffer, Sound Operator, Food Stylist, Set Dresser, Still Photographer, Special Effects Technician and Talent are essential. Pre-production planning and scheduling are essential to a successful tabletop food and beverage video production and timing is everything!
The proper tools are also essential. Besides selecting the right camera, lighting and gear package for each video production, choosing the right tabletop props, location and kitchen set are also important. Matthew and Company owns one of the largest selections of napkins and table coverings for still photography sets as well as our own kitchen set. It has a working sink, a four burner gas stove top and plenty of working cabinet space. Our kitchen is portable so it can be set up just about anywhere.
This tabletop food video is a compilation of footage shot for various clients primarily for commercial use. Clients include Shan Foods, American Heart Association “Simple Cooking with Heart”, Sirloin Stockade, Montana Mike’s, Coyote Canyon, Silver and Stone and Texas Steak Express.
On the other side of the “kitchen counter” so to speak, is video production for cooking shows or demonstration of cooking recipes in an actual kitchen. The Simple Cooking with Heart series that you will also find samples of on our web site, also takes a tremendous amount of coordination and specialized production crew to produce informative and appetizing results. Tabletop food video production and on set food preparation are one of our favorite types of production.
