It doesn’t matter if you spell it MōVI or Movi, we have it and it works great! It is a 3-axis gyro stabilized camera gimbal. This camera stabilizer is so advanced it redefines the possibilities for camera movement. As a result, this versatile new technology allows for steady handheld camera filming replacing Steadi-cam applications. In addition, it also offers solid aerial filming from a UAV/Drone. The brushless motors are the perfect blend of performance and weight. It gives us total control over the stabilizer with multiple modes for single operators and dual operators. The proprietary control algorithms are especially relevant. They utilize a very high accuracy GPS.
Because of it’s unique attributes, we used the gyro stabilized camera system on most of the shots for this music video production for Tammy Lane Productions in Capernaum.
Some jobs are just more interesting than others and the MōVI gyro stabilized gimbal is usually at the heart of those jobs.
Matthew and Company, in conjunction with our subsidiary HDaerial, were asked to provide aerial images and ground images for a corporate video series for Cargill, Inc called “A More Beautiful Barn“. Three different farms were featured across the United States; The Lynn farm in Crawford, TX, The Miller Farm in Harrisonburg, VA, and The Robertson Farm in Loose Creek, MO. Each one of these 3 minute web videos tells a beautiful and compelling story. We used our Movi in conjunction with the RED Dragon to capture all ground shots as well as all of the aerial images.
We also produce multi-camera live events such as concerts, business meetings, educational conferences and fashion show extravaganzas. It was used on this multi-camera production for a Phillips Craig and Dean Concert celebrating the grand opening of the Life Austin Amphitheater. MAC also provides satellite uplinks, web streaming, broadcasts, directors, technicians, crews and camera operators.

Capernaum using Movi M15
The MōVI / Movi M15 gyro stabilized camera gimbal can be used handheld without any assistance. Yet, regardless of the size and weight of camera that you use, you will soon find that shots become compromised. After just a few minutes of filming, fatigue and muscle aches from hand holding will be difficult to overcome. Therefore, we have found the perfect solution in the Exhauss gimbal ExoSkeleton. Couple the Exhauss with the MōVI, and you have an unbeatable gyro stabilized camera gimbal ground shoot. The state of the art design of the Exhauss removes all the stress and weight of operating the MōVI. Our operator easily handles long form applications with the MōVI / Exhauss combo like at this Phillips, Craig and Dean concert at the Life Austin Amphitheater.
You can also create dynamic, customized time lapse sequences with the FrameMaker app. Furthermore, all of the parameters of a time lapse can either be determined with the app or directly from theMoVI Controller.
The MōVI M15 can also swing from ground filming to aerial UAV/Drone applications in about 45 minutes. As a result, the MōVI performs well and provides rock solid handheld filming as well as aerial filming. A More Beautiful Barn-Mike, A More Beautiful Barn-Craig and Nancy, and A More Beautiful Barn-Glenn are also great examples of the MōVI at work in the air and on the ground. When the MōVI was not on the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle UAV/Drone filming aerials, it was being used on the ground with the RED Dragon Camera.
